The Fund of the National Library of Uzbekistan has been supplemented with new editions of works by Kazakh writers in foreign languages. Books donated by the National Academic Library of Kazakhstan. Books in English, French, Spanish, Chinese and Arabic have been published under the program “Modern Kazakh culture in the global world” by “Astana-Personal” publishing house.
Within the framework of this project, a collection of samples of contemporary Kazakhstan literature is being translated into 6 UN languages. The task is to present to the world the achievements of modern Kazakh literature, musical and visual arts, choreography, cinema and theater.
Translations and editions of the anthologies in Spanish, French, Russian, Chinese and Arabic were made in collaboration with (Cambridge University Press).
Books, additions to the library fund were written by national writer of Kazakhstan, the author of many historical novels Kabdesh Jumadilova known Kazakh novelist Sherkhan Murtaza, a classic of modern Kazakh literature Beksultan Nurjekeeva, poet, GM, virtuoso word Murat AUPET, an outstanding poet, the national Kazakh writer, linguist and researcher , turkologist and diplomat Olljas Suleimenov, writer and playwright Dulat Isabekov, writer, screenwriter and public figure Smagul Elubai and other Kazakhs their writers.
The books have taken a worthy place in the Center for Kazakh Literature and Culture in the National Library of Uzbekistan and have aroused keen interest among Uzbek readers and a desire to get closer acquainted with the cultural wealth of the Kazakh people.
