In the National library of Uzbekistan opened a book and illustrative exhibition called "Har bir rangda hakikat Bor" (In each color there is some truth)

September 12, 2018 in the reading room "Uzbekistan" of the National library of Uzbekistan opened a book and illustrative exhibition entitled "Har bir rangda hakikat Bor" (In each color there is a share of truth), dedicated to the birthday of the poet and translator Shavkat Rahmon. The exhibition presents works published during the life and after the death of the poet, books, articles from Newspapers, introducing readers to his life and work.

Talented poet Shavkat Rahmon was born in 1950 on September 12 in Osh region. After graduating from high school in 1966, he works in construction and in regional publications. In 1973 he graduated from the literary Institute named after M. Gorky in Moscow, moved to Tashkent and began his creative activity in the editorial office of Literature and art named after Gafur Gulyam as editor and head of the Department. He also works as an Executive Secretary in the Union of writers of Uzbekistan.

The first poems of the poet were published in the regional newspaper. The first collection called "Rangli lahzalar" (Colored moments) was published in 1978. It was further published collections of poems under the names of "Yurak kirralari" (Faces of the heart) (1981), "Ochik kunlar" (Bright days) (1983), "Gullayotgan Tosh" (Blossoming stone) (1984), "Uygok toglar" (Awakening of the mountain) (1986), "Hulvo" (1988). A collection of "Saylanma", prepared by the poet himself, was published after his death. It includes works written by the poet himself during his illness.

Shavkat Rahmon, translating into Uzbek beautiful poems by the famous Spanish poet Lorca from Russian and Spanish, twice published them in the collections of poems and thus contributed to the enrichment of the spiritual world of the Uzbek reader. Shavkat Rahmon found himself in life as a principled person and in literature as an ardent poet. He relies on strict criteria, not changing them, glorifies high ideals. His lyrics are characterized by harsh words. His works reflect the flaming soul of the poet, his experiences. Shavkat Rahmon is a poet who praises the truth. He looked at the world with a bold look and wanted his contemporaries to be worthy of their ancestors.
